Use a primer suited to your skin type, set with quality setting spray, choose long-wear formulas, and avoid heavy creams in the heat. Your artist should use professional products designed for 10+ hour wear.

No trial option, portfolio looks heavily filtered or edited, poor hygiene practices, inability to explain products used, pushy upselling, no contract, and unavailability for the full prep time needed.

Consider the event’s formality, your personal style, the venue lighting (outdoor vs. ballroom), and your dress neckline. Bring inspiration photos to your trial and communicate honestly about what you like and don’t.

Allow 60–90 minutes for bridal hair, 45–75 minutes for bridal makeup. Each additional person needs 30–45 minutes. Start 4–5 hours before the ceremony if the bridal party includes 3–4 people.
