If your venue is far from urban centers, difficult to reach, or has limited parking, shuttles are almost essential. They also reduce drunk driving risks and parking congestion. Coordinate pickup points near guest clusters.

Map guest locations, identify 2–3 central pickup points, schedule departures to arrive 15–30 minutes before the ceremony, and arrange return shuttles at staggered times (1 hour before and at end of event). Use our guest list to plan routes.

If you’re hosting a day-after event, providing shuttle service from the hotel to the brunch location is a nice touch that simplifies logistics for tired guests.

Providing transportation is generous but not obligatory. If you arrange it, include details on the invitation or event website. For destination venues, it’s considered courteous to offer shuttle service.
